1. Digital footprint
The very first advice I could give you to get a job in Computer Science is to have a good Digital footprint. You should search your full name on search engine like DuckDuckGo which sound a little strange but DuckDuckGo doesn't track you like others search engine. This way people won't know that you searched yourself on the internet because searching yourself on the internet sound a bit egocentric.
After you have done your research, you should check if you have a good background or not because having a bad background is very unattractive for an employer and you should try to clean it up a little bit.
Now that your background is cleaned of any unwanted information. You should aim to get an appealing background on the internet. Like they said Technically Speaking in the article Your Personal Brand Online, you should try to get new work on the internet or get something to do related to computer science. You could use a website like Github where you can post a computer related project which people can try and make request and feedback. You can also help other people on this website because some employer check if you have a Github and you can also link your account on your Cv. Employer can check it and they will see that you know what you are doing and have a good idea of how you work based on your work on Github.
2. Social Skills
It is very important to have good social skills because you will have to work in a team in a job related to Computer Science. Nowadays people code in teams of two persons. One guy is coding while the other check any coding errors and gives feedback about his coding. From the article "The Hard Facts about Soft Skills", employers are looking for people who have good speaking competence and organization skill and this is specially true in a job related to Computer Science because you will probably have to work for a client and you will have to ask him questions about what he want and you will have to give him technical information and feedback about the progress of his requests.3. Be Positive
My third recommendation would be to always be positive. You will probably face many problems while writing a program and not being positive will just hurt you and your future colleague because you work in a team! The "Harnessing the Power of Positive Emotions" gives good information about being positive as if you are positive, it will help you to acquire new relation with people and also with some social competences. The opposite of positiveness will only give you very wrong emotion and your colleague probably won't like to have you around in the work space and in the end. Being negative will probably only get you fired.
Coming with a smile in a job interview is way better than going in with a sad face because it makes a good first impression!
Little note.
